On January 1st, the Oregon DEQ implemented the E-cycle program statewide. The Department of Environmental Quality in conjunction with hardware and computer manufacturers is providing this service in order to promote equipment recycling.  Individuals may bring up to seven items to be recycled for free. These items include:

  • laptop computers
  • desktop computers
  • monitors
  • television sets

The service does not include the acceptance of other computer-related items (such as keyboards,  mice,  speakers, etc.) or other electronic devices.
