micro_usbHooray! And it’s about time….  Led by the European Commission, major cell phone manufacturers have agreed on the micro-usb interface as the standard for cell phone chargers, thus eliminating the need to replace the charger when a new phone is purchased.  Gone will be the many and varied proprietary chargers that are often unique to each type of phone. The reduction of e-waste will be significant with this move. Will all of the players jump on board?
