Right before the last sighs of frustration and mumbled expletives, the system restore option usually comes into the  picture. Often times it will  do the job. And there are other times when it seems to make a bigger mess of things. As with many changes and improvements incorporated into Windows 7, the system restore received its fare share of makeover.
